“Although the holiday rush hasn’t started quite yet, retailers have been working in preparation of the season for months. The National Retail Federation reported that imports saw their busiest “peak season” ever this year, which is when retailers stock up on merchandise for the winter holidays in summer and fall. The boom was a mix of restocking after the mid-year retail rebound, and the ‘safety stock’ trend we’ve seen since the start of the pandemic.”  -Adam Abushagur
