The most overwhelming takeaway from working with Adam was how intentionally focused and very well organized he was. Adam consistently communicated with me on every change and every update. He wasn’t excessive, but more aggressive than most people I’ve worked with; he is definitely a motivated individual. Adam is a true market expert and diplomat- even with certain contention points, he worked with both parties until there became mutual satisfaction on the transaction. I was more than satisfied with Adam, as he followed up on all points and kept me in the loop on every issue and deliverable that needed to be made. When people ask me about commercial real estate agents, my only comment is that they’re the second biggest waste of money. However, Adam proved that not to be the case at all. We found Adam Abushagur after having our property listed for almost 3 and ½ years with other brokers. We were thinking about an auction in order to get it moved. When Adam and I were on the initial phone call, it sounded like he was willing to market the property aggressively, and had an extensive list of buyers within the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as the state of Texas. Within 3 weeks of signing the listing memorandum, we had an offer which ultimately was rejected as being too low and within a couple of weeks had two more. One of which was accepted. Adam Abushagur with Marcus & Millichap was able to navigate a difficult transaction process and a demanding client, with a calm and patient attitude. Adam approached us in September of 2016 about the possibility of orchestrating a sale/leaseback of our office/industrial property.
