TAG Industrial Watch: October 24, 2020
“While industrial seems to be thriving during the global pandemic, supply chains have been seeing frequent issues with international suppliers, leading to reshoring initiatives across the U.S. Even pre-coronavirus, reshoring has been in the sights of many manufacturers in regards to finding suppliers closer to home such as within the United States or elsewhere in North America. More specific reasons for this reshoring include things like tight industrial real estate capacity, manufacturing labor shortage, technology availability, sustainability initiatives, and moving costs (NREI).” -Adam Abushagur
