“While much commercial construction has continued to push on through the coronavirus pandemic, contractors remain skeptical about the future with measurable project delays. Dodge Data Analytics reported in an online survey that 67% of many in the construction industry are experiencing project delays related to government-mandated COVID-19 shutdowns of construction sites. Issues related to these delays include: material and equipment delivery, staffing, owner delays, lack of necessary permits/inspections related to government closures, etc. Contractors surveyed were very concerned about the impact over the next 3 months, with concerns easing up around the 6-month mark, with smaller contractors affected most.” -Adam Abushagur
