Gunnar Vachris of Marcus & Millichap’s Austin office specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant and multi-tenant industrial assets in partnership with the TAG Industrial Group. Mr. Vachris’ real estate career began with a multi-family acquisitions group specializing in affordable housing properties. Mr. Vachris was able to build upon his real estate investment experience with his time at a mortgage lender, working on a small-loan deal team underwriting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans. His foray into industrial real estate came during his time at an investment firm focused on small and mid-sized last-mile distribution facilities. Upon seeing the growth opportunities in the industrial market, it was an easy decision for Mr. Vachris to pursue a career in brokerage services.

Mr. Vachris earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. When he is not busy finding the best opportunities for his clients, Mr. Vachris enjoys his time enjoying live music, outdoor activities like hiking and golf, and exploring the state’s capital city.
