“A big thanks to Stanley Black & Decker as the company committed to a significant lease with developer Hillwood. The tool company made a deal for 1.2 million square feet within developer’s AllianceTexas, the 26,000-acre industrial community in Fort Worth. In response, mammoth developer Hillwood seeks to launch Alliance Westport 11, a one million-square-foot industrial facility that could double in square footage, with potential to be one of the largest distribution hubs in the United States.
This is not the only spec distribution project of Hillwood’s in Fort Worth. AllianceTexas alone has generated near $76 billion in economic impact for the region.
All of these plans add to the prediction that DFW will pass Los Angeles and take the top spot for industrial in the U.S.”
