According to DHL, localized delivery, flexi-delivery networks, seasonal logistics, and evolving technologies are trends shaping competition in urban last mile transportation. Due to consumers being able to request how, when, and where their packages are delivered, logistics players are being forced to adapt. In 2019, expect even more people to escape expensive coastal areas and choose DFW as their home, driving competition even higher than it was in 2018. There might be a very slight market slowdown in 2019, but the rock solid DFW economy and population growth makes having slight industrial oversupply a non-issue. In fact, it comes as a bit of relief. “
