TAG Industrial Watch: November 20, 2021
“With occupancy rates at record highs and quality space becoming ever more difficult to find, industrial landlords and investors have tapped into their creative side this year. Not only has former retail space been readapted for industrial use, but so have unutilized office properties. However, sometimes the best solution is to readapt and reconfigure one’s current space to accommodate more business. For owners of flex properties, it may be economical to repurpose unused office space for more valuable industrial use. Given that the U.S. continues to import goods at a record pace, quality warehouse space will continue to be a hot commodity, and creative solutions a necessity.” -Adam Abushagur
