TAG Industrial Watch: April 3, 2021

“Over the past decade, the rapid rise of industrial real estate has been marked by the presence of e-commerce giant Amazon. Of the ten largest industrial buildings currently under construction, Amazon will occupy nine of them as either a leaseholder or owner-occupant (Commercial Property Executive). While Amazon has been the dominant player, there is still room for the emergence of a new type of tenant. The indoor vertical farming business is projected to grow from a $24 billion industry to a $40 billion industry by next year (Forbes). Investment opportunities in the industrial market continue to remain dynamic.” -Adam Abushagur
