TAG Industrial Watch: March 6, 2021
“Increased industrial demand has led many to wonder if supply can keep up. According to CommercialEdge, it is looking like it can. With nearly 28 million industrial square feet delivered in 2021 and over 337 million under construction, there is also more than 361 million square feet in planning phases. Midwest shipping hubs have emerged with a large amount of industrial square feet in current construction, development, and planning. At the same time, industrial supply in coastal markets is weaning, supporting the trend of a mass coastal exodus to more affordable areas.” -Adam Abushagur
