Industrial Watch: January 25, 2020

“Last week, the Senate passed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement in an 89-10 vote with support from Democrats. In a rush to pass the deal before the president’s impeachment trial began, it was voted on just one day after the signing of the China trade deal. Replacing the North American Free Trade Agreement, USMCA is expected to increase GDP by 0.35 percent and create 176,000 jobs (U.S. International Trade Commission). The next step is ratification from President Trump and Canadian approval.” -Adam Abushagur
