“Sister company of Google, X Development, filed two patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that involve robots and warehouse automation and space efficiency. The robots could work in tandem with human employees and would be equipped with sensors, cameras, picking arms, and central processing systems for a number of processes. These advancements could compliment X Development’s existing drone delivery service approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. We’ve known that this technology was on its way for some time, and it’s now coming to fruition.” -Adam Abushagur
