A 39,621-SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL BUILDING

 

SEAGOVILLE, Texas, January 7, 2020 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has announced the sale of Abney Industrial Warehouses, a 39,621-square foot industrial property located in Seagoville, Texas, according to Tim A. Speck, division manager in the firm’s Dallas office.

Adam Abushagur, first vice president investments and Sam Martin, associate, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.

“There was a tough barrier to entry, with only one industrial property for lease within a 5-mile radius of the property,” said Martin. “With frequent, effective communication, we were able to accommodate the unique transition needs of the buyer and seller. We were under contract within two weeks of hitting the market and closed before the due diligence period ended, a 40-day total escrow period,” she said.

Abney Industrial Warehouses is located at 316 West Simonds Road in Seagoville, Texas.  The subject property consists of an office building and three warehouses situated on 4.18 acres that were built in 1984 and 1988.
