“In the wake of the U.S. House of Representatives’ vote to impeach the president, the same group voted Thursday to approve the revised North American Free Trade Agreement, or USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement). Put simply, USMCA will have a moderate but positive effect on auto manufacturing, labor laws, dairy farmers, digital trade, environmental protections, and biologic drugs. While the majority of Congress seems on board, next up is the Senate vote in early 2020-but only after Trump’s impeachment trial is completed.” -Adam Abushagur
