Marcus & Millichap Arranges The Sale Of A 45,149-Square Foot Industrial Building

RICHARDSON, TX, May 23, 2019 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has announced the sale of Onyx Business Center, a 45,149-square foot industrial property located in Richardson, Texas, according to Tim A. Speck, district manager of the firm’s Dallas office.

Adam Abushagur, industrial specialist and first vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.  The buyer, a multi-family private investor, was procured by Adam Abushagur and John Susank, senior vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Newport Beach office.

“The asset sold at above asking price after fielding nine offers through a tailored marketing effort which leveraged the Marcus & Millichap platform and culminated in a best and final offer process,” said Abushagur. “The property was closed within two months of initially listing the asset, which continues to showcase the cross-product demand from multi-family investors seeking industrial assets,” he said.

Onyx Business Center is located at 1717 Firman Drive in Richardson, Texas.  The subject property is situated on 3.19 acres of land and was built in 2001.
