“Although we don’t usually associate real estate and culture with one another off the bat, it is important to keep watch on cause and effect between the two. There seems to be a constant focus on Millennials and the domino effect of their culture on businesses, but the real estate market is now shifting its focus to Generation Z, or those born post 1996. Specifically, in regards to industrial space, proximity to consumers is key. To stand up against brick and mortar, online retailers need next to nothing delivery times, and it is an opportune moment to perfect this supply chain art while e-commerce is still technically in its infancy.

We know there will be many changes, we’ll just have to wait and see what technological advancements come to fruition and who will be able to keep up. Labor and land for the industrial sector are still sparse, and as for the latter- they’re not making any more of it.”
