“Labor shortages continue to be on the rise– to the tone of 300,000 job openings (the highest on record). According to CoStar, over 1.19 million people are employed in warehousing/storage and employee earnings are up 3 percent year-over-year. Dallas has been considered a metro with a larger, however more expensive, labor pool for e-commerce players. With same-day delivery now an option, the hiring frenzy shows no signs of slowing down.”
