TAG Industrial Market Watch: December 15, 2018

“The lost pitches for Amazon HQ2 in Texas might not have been fruitless. The Texas Fort Worth Alliance Airport will be home to Amazon’s new air freight facility possibly within a year. Amazon Air has been in business since the Amazon One aircraft took flight in 2016. They currently have 40 aircrafts to meet the needs of Amazon Prime and its 2-day delivery. The facility will be the first of its kind, creating an estimated “hundreds” of jobs and will be able to accommodate multiple flights a day. Additionally, tech giant Apple is sharing the love and announced that the company will be building a $1 billion campus in Austin, Texas, creating over 5,000 new jobs for the city.”
