“A vast number of Americans are following stay-at-home orders and while businesses are beginning to reopen, home delivery still proves convenient, safe, and easy. Replenishment warehouses supply smaller ones located closer to larger populations. These larger warehouses will not only need to increase in quantity, but not rely solely on trucking to make replenishment deliveries. Experts predict that in the future, intermodal rail will serve as a cheaper option in regards to the pricing power of long-haul trucking. Even with the unknowns of the current global pandemic, one thing is still certain- ‘Your order has been shipped’ isn’t going anywhere.”  -Adam Abushagur
