Calmest Month for the 10-Year in Decades

10-year  U.S Treasury yields moving between 2.32% and 2.42% during November capped off one of the least turbulent months in four decades.  Meanwhile, recently released data showed U.S consumer spending slowed in October to a still-decent pace after its biggest monthly increase in several years.  And, the tax bill got crucial banking from Sen. McCain, prompting optimism on its prospects as it’s headed for significant debate on the Senate floor and perhaps a final vote by the end of the week.  Progress on the tax overhaul may provide impetus for an extension of the equity bull into the final weeks of the year.
